Abilities[ | ]
Abilities are attacks or functions performed by Awesomenauts that aid in battle. Awesomenauts have 2 starting abilities, their basic attack, and their jump. They also have 2 distinct supplementary abilities which must be bought from the in-game shop. These supplementary abilities cost 135 solar each to unlock. From there, the ability can be manipulated to fit specific roles and perform various tasks to best suit your characters needs in battle.
The two purchasable abilities can all be sorted into basic groups. A 'naut usually has one upgrade that is meant to do damage, either to a single target, or over an area, and one upgrade that allows them greater mobility, immobilizes, intimidates or buff/ heals themselves or teammates.
