Hey, I'm Ben(not the Benjamin you already spoke with!), the Wiki Director here at Curse. Glad to have you join the Gamepedia family! I think we forgot to mention but you should be able to merge your old account with your current one so that you can keep all your contributions. It should be @ Special:WikiAccountRecovery. Let me know if that works! - Smokie (talk) 06:26, 16 November 2013 (UTC)
Mainpage News broken?[edit source]
The only news we currently have (patch 1.25) is linking to the main page again. Or is it just for me? I checked the code and it shows the correct link, oddly enough.
Checking in![edit source]
Things are going great. Thanks --Littlefreak3000 (talk) 01:43, 23 November 2013 (UTC)
I've noticed something regarding the wiki. Go to any 'naut "information" page, and you'll notice that the showcases at the bottom of the page are no longer there for some reason. I'm not sure what caused this. Also, the quote links for taunt, attack, defend, etc... sometimes the links in these pages appear as white text instead of the normal orange for me. Do you know what could cause this? (EDIT: I can "fix" this by clicking on "edit" and then hitting "save" but it's always resetting for me, for some reason)
Froggy G in every "build" subsection[edit source]
Hi there LF.
I was looking at the builds subsection of the 'nauts and it seems like there's an error with the "HeroGuide" template: It displays a link to Froggy G on every page it is put on, when it should only show submitted builds. Here: http://awesomenauts.gamepedia.com/Template:HeroGuide
Also, I've contacted Fabian about the new AirStrike icon for Ted, since it was changed from red to a blue background. He said he'd send it today, so you should be getting it soon.
Yo, LF! Ignore this one, Pudding managed to fix that "Froggy G everywhere" bug! Cheers to her! :D
New name?[edit source]
Hey LF, Memor here.
I was brought here by Rpv telling me that you could change my name with your super founder powers somehow. :P
Is this possible? If so I would like it changed to 'Memor'.
Thanks in advance.
I figured it out![edit source]
Remember when I said to you that the links on the 'naut subsection pages (information, tips & tactics, and such) were showing up as white instead of orange?
"Also, the quote links for taunt, attack, defend, etc... sometimes the links in these pages appear as white text instead of the normal orange for me. Do you know what could cause this?"
I think I know what's actually happening. The link has the normal orange color to me, but if I click it (i.e., mark it as "seen") it becomes white, just like the rest of the text. Maybe this helps ya somehow? :) (Rpvarela (talk) 03:14, 6 December 2013 (UTC))
Up there in the top right corner of the wiki there's this avatar button, but it doesn't seem to do anything. It only adds a "#" to the url of the page.
IDK that's part of the gamepedia site not part of the wiki. --Littlefreak3000 (talk) 02:51, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
Sorry to bother you yet again, man. But it was brought to my attention that if you go to any console 'naut page under the upgrade subsection and click on any of the upgrades, they link you to the current, pc version of it instead of the console one (there are also lots of pics missing on some of them). I also noticed that the "Template:Console Upgrade Database/doc" was marked as a red link (I tried copying it from the old wiki to recreate it but that did nothing, so I deleted it again).
What's odd is that under the skills tab it works properly! The upgrades link it to their console version correctly. Any idea what could be the cause of this?
Fixed. Nice to know people use the console nauts pages --Littlefreak3000 (talk) 02:52, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
Thanks man! I really don't know what happened there. You fixed the upgrades, but the skills are still linking to the PC version on the upgrades subsection. Once it's fixed I'll take care of the missing images and reupload'em! :)
Opps missed that. Should be good now. --Littlefreak3000 (talk) 03:01, 11 December 2013 (UTC)
Ability Template[edit source]
"Why don't any of the ability pages have any description of what the ability does itself? I checked the template and the in-game descriptions (which are not very detailed if I may add) are written, but they don't actually appear on the template. What's up?" Copy pasted from Rpv's talk page.18:17, 13 December 2013 (UTC)
Another template issue, could you find some way to get the more accurate descriptions on the template itself without causing it to stretch the page? Thanks.19:55, 17 December 2013 (UTC)
Just a reminder to move the "Poll" box up next to "The Game" and "News" ones like we discussed the other day.
I think it'll have more visibility this way. :D
Something broke in the Wiki[edit source]
I hope you read this soon. Not sure if I did something wrong, but I think the Wiki broke when I added Rocco's files to it. Apparently some nauts pages are not displaying properly at all (Derpl, Yuri and Froggy to me, at least). Really don't know what happened to this pages. Think you could look at them for me? I just don't know what to do anymore.
